I found a supplier who sells custom t-shirts on an app called Carousell.

 After conversing with her and negotiating the price, I sent her an email with the orders. We also took in custom orders from friends.

Assignment: Interview with a Business Owner

1) What is your business named and what goods or services do you provide?

TALOS Health Solutions Asia Sdn. Bhd is a global innovative company that
develops virtual web congress solutions dedicated to health care. We produce
educational events exclusively for health professionals, caregivers and
patients to improve healthcare standards and improve the lives of patients
around the world.

2) When did you start planning on starting tho business and when did you
finally start?

Almost a year was spend on planning, understanding the needs of the doctors,
patients and caregivers, the current practice of medical education and how
latest information was acquired, identify the gaps of medical education in
the region, testing the health web events technology, business model
analysis.... A pilot program was finally launched in early June 2015.
Planning start date 1st June 2014, start date 1st June 2015.

3) What type of business form do you have, sole proprietorship, partnership,
corporation?

A private limited company with 4 major partners of equal share holding.

4) How did you get started in this business?

2 former ex industry colleagues got together and start to share the
challenges and dynamics of the healthcare industry, instead of complaining
we try to find new innovative solutions to the challenges. 

5) How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of
business?

More than 30 years' experience in senior management position in the
healthcare industry working for top multinational healthcare companies, for
skill sets like IT we find the people that has them.

6) Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years?
The next ten years?

Our business objectives centers on how many patient lives we plan to reach
and touch in our education events and our aim is to touch 100 million
patients in 5 years around the world!! We strongly hold to the believe of
someone who said this more than 50 years ago " Healthcare and medicines are
for the people, not for the profits, if we have remembered that, profits
will never fail to appear" 

7) Do you do this work at the business premises or Do you do this work from
home?

At a business premise.

8) What sort of training or education did you have to go through in order to
start this business?

Years of hands on experience and a basic business management degree.

9) What advice would you give someone who wants to set up their own
business?

Gain solid experience first in at least 2-3 companies, also in a position
that allows you to lead, people management is very important in business
either managing your employees, shareholders, customers, vendors... etc.
Never start any business that you do not fully understand or comprehend.
Last but not least, do something that you enjoy doing...
